● Feeding seabirds... You can feed seagulls and black-tailed gulls from the beach right in front of the inn.

●Mondori fishing: This is a traditional trap fishing method in which a net cage is submerged and fish scraps are used as bait to lure and catch the fish.

Sometimes we catch rockfish, sea bass (all small fish), octopus, mussels, etc.

●Fishing...Relax on the beach, cast your fishing line...If you catch something, great! *Fishing is scheduled for May 23rd or later.
(Note: We do not allow cooking at our inn, so please catch and release the fish.)

● We will take you to a fishing port (fishing port tour).
It's about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive one way. You can enjoy watching the "hamauri" (shore market) where freshly caught fish are unloaded.

Due to the nature of fishing, which relies on nature, the availability and timing of beach sales vary from day to day.

If you are interested, please check the following points.

■ Implementation time (approximate) ・Summer: Around 6:30 AM ・Winter: Around 7:30 AM

■ Regarding regular closing days and the decision on when the event will be held

• Regular closing days: We are generally closed every Saturday. (However, depending on the circumstances, we may also be closed on Sundays or Tuesdays.)

・Notification the day before: If the following day is a holiday, confirmation will be sent around 6 PM the day before.

・Notice on the day: If the weather is bad or the sea is rough and fishing is not possible, you will be notified of the cancellation on the morning of the day (approximately 6:00 AM).

We apologize that the decision regarding whether or not the event will be held will be announced at the last minute. We will inform our guests as soon as we receive notification.

* Due to the unloading of fish from the boats and the washing of the fish, the ground will be quite wet over a wide area. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you wear rubber boots, water-resistant synthetic leather shoes, or waterproof footwear on the day of the event.
